Don't Worry! I'm Still Here!

wow, its been a while, now hasn't it? I am so sorry, but YES! I am still alive!
I have been back in the lovely (especially in spring) country of England for a week now. Returned from Ghana, west africa, and said Good bye to my brother today.
wow, where do I start? a month ago I blogged, and so much has happened since then. I have deffenetly been changed from africa, but I don't know as I could tell you how or where I have been changed. I can tell you that being in a poverty stricken country is about the most devestating thing that you can experience, and I was never near any slums or anything, but I remember that one of the first Ghanian people that I saw was sleeping on the maridian in the street. Yes, I got a tan. No I didn't see any lions or tigers, but I did see Elephants, two kinds of monkeys, baboons, wart hogs, antelope, and water buffalo. And if you have any more questions, please send me an email, or plan to see my pictures when I get back, because I would more than love to share my experience with you, but I honestly don't know where to start.

being back at school is wierd. My old friends are here, and there are new people here, and Its wierd. some of them are great and have befriended me, and others just don't even try. I've been trying so hard, but I feel like nothing has changed. Its kinda discouraging.
My Family group is awesome though! wow! I am in my principals group, and he is so funny and so wise and just all around great. we went to his house on friday night and played two truths and a lie and watched Batman Begins and orderd pizza. It was so much fun.
But It feels like comming home afer being in africa, and it was so great to see most of my old friends. I turely missed all of them so much, and still miss the others that have spread themselves throughout the world. I am in a room with two americans and two canadians. and they are all really sweet, so thats really great.
I don't know what else to tell you. I'm back at capernwray. thats the main thing.
I miss all of you guys! I'm excited to see all of ya'll in 7 weeks!
Love,
Laurel
